Sales Officer

STAR OVERSEAS LTD., manufacturer of fast-moving Paper products is looking for High energy, result driven and ambitious people to join its Sales Team.

Ideal candidate should be a result oriented, go-getter who has proven experience in Trade Channels and Institutional business. The selected Team members will be earning compensation in line with their contribution in terms of Sales Commission along with a modest fixed monthly salary. Responsibilities

• Generate revenue from the trade channel, direct consumers, Hotels and other businesses.
• Develop the trade channel & Distribution Network in line with the company’s plans.
• Execute the marketing plans, introduce new products and services in line with the companies plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-10 years’ experience in field sales with excellent relationship with trade channel / distributors across Rwanda.
• Candidates with experience in selling Paper Products, Hygiene products, Food Packaging products will be preferred.
• Experience in selling products in the Super Markets, Hotels, Cafeterias etc, trade channels/ Distributors is a MUST.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, collection targets, etc.)
• Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations; ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within Rwanda & nearby markets.
• Language proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English is a must. Knowledge of Swahili & French is a plus point.
